Turn ON the switch and choose any pattern, and the flying squirrel will enter the "attracting and teasing cat" status for 3 minutes. After 3 minutes, it will automatically be activated for 3 seconds every 30 seconds. The flying squirrel will change its sleep status after being automatically activated five times. 
There is no need to turn off the toy unless you don't want it to activate (ex, during the night). The flapping mouse cat toy goes into auto-rest status unless it is touched. 

Catnip Instructions: Insert the catnip bag into the side pound and seal the velcro of the cover. Don’t use loose catnip inside the toy as this may damage the mechanism. 

Cleaning the cover: Be sure to switch off and remove the mechanism & catnip from the toy before cleaning the outer cover. Easy to clean up.

USB Recharge: After turning OFF the mechanism, then charge with USB cable. A full charge takes about an hour, when the charging light from red to green, the charge is finished.
